I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH COFFEE

SINCE AN EARLY BARISTA JOB IN CALIFORNIA 1984.

After many years running clinics as an acupuncturist/applied kinesiologist, I always maintained a high interest in all things that involved coffee. Moving to corvallis in 2014, I stumbled onto a coffee gem, Sivetz. A true coffee guru and intellect, Sivetz invented fluid bed roasting. By early 2015 I purchased a 12 pound Sivetz Electric Roaster and began a roaster’s journey. Wanting to find a niche in the coffee world, I discovered another sivetz invention, the coffee extractor. After seeing a working model and plans off the internet I built my own extraction machine. I’ve coined the term stacked espresso to describe the vertical stacking of the stainless steel tubes used for extraction.
